hkestes41 Posted January 10, 2012 Report Posted January 10, 2012 Went and drove this for nearly an hour today. •512 Horse Power •5.0L V-10 engine •375 lb-ft Torque •All Wheel Drive Of course since I was on the highways over by Fort Worth I didn't get to open it up but did get it to about 80 and it gets there quick. Made me realize that when I get rich I will be looking for some other form of motoring excess. Had the seat as low as it would go and my hair was still rubbing on the headliner. You think it is tough to see the traffic lights from a P15 try it from a Lambo. Not the most comfortable seats either, would not want to ride in it for a long distance, but at least you could get there in a hurry. Rode like a lumber wagon until you got it up to speed then it rode / drove fairly well. Kind of unique in that if you are setting still and do not have the brake pedal fully engaged, it will shift into neutral after a few seconds then beep at you to let you know, something to do with the double clutch. Depress the brake, flip the paddle shifter and you are back in first. Also has a button on the console which raises the front of the car to allow you to enter / exit driveways. Reverse is a push button on the lower left side of the dash near the door. Kind of cool time, not often you get to drive a car like this. But, now that I have done it once not really interested in doing it again. Unless I could drive it a little more aggressively. Quote
Frank Elder Posted January 10, 2012 Report Posted January 10, 2012 Viper 2012 600hp 560 torque 4 second 0-60 You could always go mopar lol, I'll never afford it myself. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted January 10, 2012 Report Posted January 10, 2012 according to the year Lambo (got red X) could very well still be a Chrysler product..they had ownership in both Lambo and Masaretti at one time.. Quote
bamfordsgarage Posted January 10, 2012 Report Posted January 10, 2012 I've been to Dallas twice and nobody offered me an hour in a Lambo! It's always fun to drive something far different from our normal wheels. How did you come about a hour's driving in that orange bullet? Quote
hkestes41 Posted January 10, 2012 Author Report Posted January 10, 2012 It was a Christmas gift from my wife. There is an exotic car rental place here and she purchased an hour for me. Quote
hkestes41 Posted January 11, 2012 Author Report Posted January 11, 2012 Yeah, I think I'll keep her. Even though she calls the Plymouth a "piece of junk". Quote

Plymouthy Adams Posted January 11, 2012 Report Posted January 11, 2012 talk about a rush that would have been...I get in enough trouble with a street car..one of the main reasons I don't take the Tiger out very often..hard not to put the foot down a bit.. Quote
Niel Hoback Posted January 11, 2012 Report Posted January 11, 2012 Two minutes with that and I am certain that would be the end of my life. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted January 11, 2012 Report Posted January 11, 2012 be just like Mr Toad of Toad Hall... Quote
michael.warshaw Posted January 11, 2012 Report Posted January 11, 2012 ive owned some real fast cars, one thing i can say is that speed in a high end ride feels much slower. one the highway doing 70mph feels like 15mph. in my p15 50 feels like 100. Quote
Robert Horne Posted January 11, 2012 Report Posted January 11, 2012 I know what you mean Michael. In my 38 on the back roads, 48MPH is really winding it out. Quote
