gow589gow Posted December 22, 2011 Report Posted December 22, 2011 I am finishing up a 230 from my Yale forklift. Clutch is usable but it would make sense to drop another one in while I have it apart. Does anyone know a source for these or what I should ask for? Looks like 11" diameter 1 1/4" shaft 10 spline Before: Now: Quote
Don Coatney Posted December 22, 2011 Report Posted December 22, 2011 The forum search function can be your friend in times of need. Also the links section found on the main web page supporting this forum. Quote
Niel Hoback Posted December 22, 2011 Report Posted December 22, 2011 Are we all lusting after those pulleys? Quote
gow589gow Posted December 22, 2011 Author Report Posted December 22, 2011 I spent time searching and was just wasting my time so I thought I would ask. I'll probably just throw the old one back in. The thing definitely has more pulleys then it needs. It only runs a water pump, alternator and hydraulic pump but that's how it was put together. Quote
greg g Posted December 22, 2011 Report Posted December 22, 2011 Hmmm maybe your search button is stunted, key words clutch disc just came up with http://www430.pair.com/p15d24/mopar_forum/search.php?searchid=1176390 Quote

I gave you a couple of very good directions to search where your answer could be found easily. But I will not waste any more of my time searching for you. Quote
gow589gow Posted December 22, 2011 Author Report Posted December 22, 2011 That's what I hate about search functions in forums. After getting 1,380 unrelated results and not finding an answer I went back to searching on Google. What more can you ask for? Someone to come and assemble the clutch for you???? Quote

JohnTeee Posted December 22, 2011 Report Posted December 22, 2011 Hey Gow, Don't know what you're looking for . . . components or rebuild. I used Tennessee Clutch & Supply in Nashville for rebuilding my P15 clutch and pressure plate. Think Don C. gave me their name. Something that will make searching ANY web page, especially forums, a little more friendly is to use the 'Google Site Search' from a short cut. Create a shortcut link to put in your Favorites, or, even better, Bookmark Bar. Copy and paste the following code into the 'location': javascript:q%20=%20""%20+%20(window.getSelection%20?%20window.getSelection()%20:%20document.getSelection%20?%20document.getSelection()%20:%20document.selection.createRange().text);%20if%20(!q)%20q%20=%20prompt("Search%20terms%20[leave%20selection%20and%20box%20blank%20to%20list%20all%20pages]%20...%20",%20"");%20if%20(q!=null)%20location="http://www.google.com/search?q=site:"%20+%20escape(location.hostname)%20+%20"%20\""%20+%20escape(q).replace(/%20/g,%20"+")%20+%20"\"";%20void%200 Now, ANY web page you are on, you can do one of two things: 1) Click the link while on the page. A box will pop up and you can enter your search terms. It will search that entire website for your search terms. 2) Highlight text on the web page. Clink your new link. It will automatically search that entire web site for your terms. If you don't like how the search came out (too much, too little) you can always modify your search results by removing the quote marks to expand it, using the "OR", "AND" and "-" modifiers. Welcome to the forum. There's a lot of good information floating around. Cheers! John Quote
Olddaddy Posted December 22, 2011 Report Posted December 22, 2011 I send my clutch discs and pressure plates out to a local rebuilder in Tampa, FL. If you look around you will find most larger industrial areas have a rebuilder. USPS priority mail being so cheap, send them out. I use Bay Area Clutch in Tampa. Speaking of pulleys....are those stock original Yale pulleys? If so, what year/model is your lift? Those would make a nice setup for my 230. I only run a water pump and alternator, but someday an AC compressor will get mounted. Quote
