1940plymouth Posted December 13, 2011 Report Posted December 13, 2011 Yesterday I was Santa for a local Sunday school here in the area. As I walked in the church hall the kids all smiled, I had one ask if my beard was real, I asked him if he wanted to pull on it to check, well naturally he did and his face lit right up in a smile and needless to say, I ended up with another six or seven kids pull on my whiskers to see if they were real. Like the Mastercard commercial "PRICELESS" Quote
Oldguy48 Posted December 13, 2011 Report Posted December 13, 2011 If I had to guess, I'll bet you enjoyed that outing as much as the kids did. Quote
55 Fargo Posted December 13, 2011 Report Posted December 13, 2011 Looks like you had a blast, and the Kids did too Bob, right on. It was good talking with you on the phone Bob earlier tonight, keep up the good pics.......Fred Quote
Robert Horne Posted December 13, 2011 Report Posted December 13, 2011 Nice going Bob, I see similar smiles at the nursing home. My Sister makes alot of cookies, cupcakes, etc. for the people there. Quote
randroid Posted December 13, 2011 Report Posted December 13, 2011 Bob, Each year I smile when I see the thread about you being Santa because I know there will be some fun photos. I also smile when I think of the service you're giving to your community. Thanks for taking the time to do it. -Randy Quote
1940plymouth Posted December 13, 2011 Author Report Posted December 13, 2011 Thanks for all the great comments, they are greatly appreciated. Here are a few from the Christmas tree lighting at the town hall on Dec 4th Tomorrow afternoon I am Santa at the bank here in town from 2:30pm until closing at 4:30pm. The bank supplies the camera to take photos and the copy paper for each photo at no charge. This is the second year that I have been at the bank Quote
Chester Brzostowski Posted December 13, 2011 Report Posted December 13, 2011 Hay Bob or should I say Santa, Anyway if I knew you were Santa I would have asked you about that fully restored 1925 Duisenberg roadster I asked for. Well I am stilling waiting and frankly I don’t understand what’s taking you so long. Don’t forget you don’t have to bring it down the Chimney. The driveway will be just fine. See you Christmas eve. PS… I will leave some cookies & beer. Your friend, Chet… Quote

This Santa enjoys eggnog and Capt Morgan spiced rum:) Chet, no promises on the Dussy I just had to include a photo of Cooper with his raindeer antlers, he wasn't a happy raindeer though Here are a couple of photos from Yesterday at the bank after school. The bank supplied free photo for all the parents. There were about 35 or so kids there. The girls were busy taking photos, but did manage to get a couple with my camera Quote
Niel Hoback Posted December 16, 2011 Report Posted December 16, 2011 Cooper does look like he would like to take a hunk out of the guy that did that to him. The kids appear to be having a great time, tho. Quote
