wayfarerstranger Posted October 22, 2011 Author Report Posted October 22, 2011 SO i guess it doesn`t matter ? ask 10 people get 10 different answers , mine is on the outside at about 3 o`clock works great ? The other question would be where to you mount a spinner knob on a one legged woman , or a one armed man ? Quote
azmichael1 Posted October 22, 2011 Report Posted October 22, 2011 As many of you probably already know, spinner knobs were also known as "Necker knobs"...........named that because it made it possible to turn the steering wheel with your left hand so that you could keep your right arm around your date....................I have mine mounted at about 10:00. james curl Posted October 22, 2011 Report Posted October 22, 2011 Best way that I know of to ruin a good steering wheel. Quote
Niel Hoback Posted October 22, 2011 Report Posted October 22, 2011 Thats a fact. I put a lining of inner tube under the spinner clamp and it still left two big grooves in the wheel. If I had it to do again, I probably wouldn't use a spinner, but now I am stuck with it. Quote
norrism1 Posted October 22, 2011 Report Posted October 22, 2011 We used to call them knuckle busters. Quote
Don Coatney Posted October 22, 2011 Report Posted October 22, 2011 The other question would be where to you mount a spinner knob on a one legged woman , or a one armed man ? Best answer to your question is (Where ever you want to) in both cases if you are so inclined:eek: Quote
