falconvan
Never heard of them but I know replacement floors for these cars are pricey. Have you thought about building your own? Raw sheet metal is pretty reasonable. I just bought a 4' x 10' sheet of 16 gauge cold rolled for $75.
dctodd1313
was thinking about making my own, this is my first build so i am kind of leery about floor bracing and how it connects to body, mine are rotted away.
greg g
rcar has been mentioned favorably as has stuff from plymouthdoctor. The is a fellow selling on ebay from Minn or Wisc, less money but more fiddling to fit. As far as the bracing is concerned you are pretty much on your own. oldmopar
I have used the channels at the link to repair floor braces on a plymouth floor they show as being for a cj jeep http://www.rustrepair.com/part_numbers.htm?pt=FSC36
Joe Flanagan
I've seen them on e-bay. Whenever I do a search under 49 Plymouth, they come up.
oldmopar
Joe, you have had a lot of experience with floors maybe you should go into the floor repair business.
Gary Manes
Mentioning both of these at the same time and price makes me nervous. The Dodges are the same size as the Desotos, and Windsors NOT Plymouth. Plymouth Doctor is out of business. I was all set to buy a set of floor pans for my New Yorker and Desoto, so I have been keeping an eye on his web site. He never did make any '48 and up for anything not already on his web site. I would send him an e-mail from time to time and they were always just about ready. Ready to go out of business!

You have no idea how happy I was when all that was over. But somehow I think there is another floor or two in my future.

In fact, he has expanded his business to include doing powder coating. He is, at the moment, in India doing missionary work for his church. Furylee2
I was at a swap meet in Greenfield, IA over the weekend. Stopped by a vendor who had some floor pans on display. He said the display parts were for 46-48 Desoto, but said they made them for P-15’s as well. Here is their info: Precision Body & Metal Shapers 225 NE 47th Place Des Moines, IA (515) 288-1603 Gil & Terry Knudsen Lee
