Generally, Steele Rubber is considered good quality. They are expensive, but are pretty much considered the best. I have bought rubber from Bernbaum and from Roberts and within a few years it was starting to split and crack.

Of all the stuff I bought at Andy's, the only complaint I have is the rubber. My draft seals and accelerator grommet are already dryrotting and splitting within 2 years. From what I hear Steele's the way to go.

the vent rubber and molded front and rear windscreen weatherstrip are of major concern due to the work involved to prep and install these items correctly..one would not want to chance having to return to the scene of the crime in just a short order to reaccomplish work due to a poor performing product. However as said Steele is high, oft times their vent rubber is not close to original but functional and decent rubber. YOUR CALL

as for the bletlines and channel to rebuild doors..only one source for than though many resell this stuff...as usual, it is generic for the most part for Chrysler products..order this by length needed, beaded/unbeaded as you see fit and DO pay close attention when looking for this stuff you know what you are getting..areas that require flexible must be flexible and not the rigid style..

door rubber..this stuff is generic at best even through Steele..and for the money and quaility and ease of fit without being oversize and puckering you door seam..I suggest Clesters..They also have some windshild molded pieces..do check them out...good prices...

again, this is all your call and I used to push a certain company but of late i am not satisfied with thier service and no longer can rely on them sending a part though at time of order they say it is in stock and ready to ship..I do not care for backorders especially when told up front the item is in stock...

I am in search of another company that may be able to meet my needs for this beltline/channel and other misc clips and hardware...my dollar orders may not be as much as some folks but still they are my dollars being spent..their excuses border on pathetic to flat out lame..

I have used all of the sources listed. Most of what I have been satisfied with is from Steel Rubber. I recently met Dave Kruse who owns Metal Rubber. He started making some parts that are not available from any other source for his own car. He doesn't have a huge catalog, but he does have some items that no one else makes and he is willing to make parts if you have a good original. I talked about visiting his shop in this video.

+1

I recently purchased some rubber parts from Dave Kruse.

Although I haven't yet installed them, the parts appear to be well made and of a very high quality.

His customer service is outstanding, very responsive, and his combined shipping costs were EXTREMELY reasonable.

Thanks Dave!
