Plymouthy Adams Posted May 22, 2011 Report Posted May 22, 2011 the reason for all the sandblasting and priming and baking on of paint was the get the wheels prepped so I could get this little beast back to the house...it all paid off today... Quote
greg g Posted May 22, 2011 Report Posted May 22, 2011 Now how you gonna get into let alone get out of a midget???? Is that a 1275 rib case car?? Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted May 22, 2011 Author Report Posted May 22, 2011 I'm old Greg..not crippled...yet! Not sure of the case style on the tranny, 1275 dual carb 4 speed...I do like the fact that it is pre rubber bumper and has the round wheel arches..more stylish than the squared wheel arches in my opinion..lot more sportier.. greg g Posted May 22, 2011 Report Posted May 22, 2011 If you ever run across a windshield glass let me know. I got a frame a few years back but the glass is cracked. Mine having been modified for racing purposes lost it widshield stuff years ago. So I keep looking around for the glass. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted May 22, 2011 Author Report Posted May 22, 2011 will be on the lookout..I do know a couple folks that have these little beast laying about... Quote
Don Coatney Posted May 22, 2011 Report Posted May 22, 2011 With my 15 wides I could most likely hit all 3 pedals at the same time with one foot. Of course I could never get my other foot in there at the same time anyway. How many go karts do you plan on dragging home? Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted May 22, 2011 Author Report Posted May 22, 2011 don't have an answer for you Don..just have a soft spot in my heart for these little monsters.. Quote

Olddaddy Posted May 24, 2011 Report Posted May 24, 2011 That Sprite brings back many happy and damp memories! Why was it that in Sunny Italy the car of choice was the Touring Coupe and in Soggy England the Open Roadster ruled the land? Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted May 24, 2011 Author Report Posted May 24, 2011 because sunny Italy they know you can get your brains boiled out of your head in a few minutes time..convertibles are not for hot sunny weather..they are for cool evening rides down the blvd or a cruise through the countryside...and in England..the convertible was the way most folks knew if or if it was not actually raining..
