1940plymouth
Do you use carving tools or a chainsaw? There is a man locally that does carvings with a chainsaw. He travels alot putting on shows of both his carvings and using the chainsaw to do so.
Robin (UK)
Simpler days... better times... But not too different to this scene, taken a couple of years ago, in the UK...
greg g
Nice Pic Robin, thought I recogized a couple of those cars. 1940plymouth
In an older issue of Hemming's "Classic Car" there was an article about some people east of Poughkeepsie that have an all original Case that has been in the family since new
Niel Hoback
Odd and meaningless, but the local Chrysler Plymouth dealer here in town started in 1928 selling Mopars and Case farm equipment. Isakson Chrysler Plymouth was unceremoniously axed after building a new dealership a few years ago.
1940plymouth
Here is a partial scan of a page out of the article in the "Classic Car" magazine about the 1922 Case. The article is in the March '09 issue
stewdecky
Man, I never knew case made a car. and yes I do use a chainsaw to rough out my bigger carvings and then detail with a grinder and chisels. Keeps me out of trouble.
Kevinb71
At the risk of sounding completly lost, where is the magnifier that was mentioned. I find nothing like that on the picture. Thanks!
greg g
Try using ctrl and the "+" key, Bob may be using a MAC but ctrl + will usually zoom the screen in and trl - will zoom out. Pictire is actually pretty high res and will take quite a bit of + zoom.
Kevinb71
Hey THAT works. THANKS!
BobT-47P15
Yes, the other method is "ctrl" and the + for larger......."ctrl" and - for smaller. The magnifier/resizer is usually in the bar across the bottom of my screen ..... lower right. Has a picture of a little magnifying glass and the number "100%" beside it. I click on the 100 or the little arrow beside it to bring up the size box. My computers use Windows programming.....various versions between home and work. RobertKB
If you don't have the little magnifying glass Bob mentioned, go to Tools, scroll down to Toolbars, click on status bar and it should appear at the bottom. Very easy to adjust size that way.
