Took my '48 S/D out for a ride today. Would have never been able to do that without the gracious help of a fellow member. Thanks again Moose! Great meeting you and seeing your collection as well. Appreciate the pointers. I did go right down to napa and got a new battery, But the fuel pump was out of stock. That will have to wait until I return from this next business trip. But I did install the new battery and she turns over without effort now. Brought my daughter along with me Later in the day and she had a blast. I had her take a photo while we where out. Will post that later. Loving the spring weather here in mass today. Hope you all are as well.

Glad you were able to be out and about today, always a nice thing to be able to drive the cars after sitting for so long, plus to got to meet another forum member and take your daughter for a ride, ah, life is good:)

Glad you had some fun today. We took out our 53 Windsor today for what I would call it's first real day of cruising since we got it a few weeks ago. We've had her out a few times for short trips but today we cruised all over town for more than 5 hours and she performed flawlessly. These old cars may be pretty but they are most enjoyable when actually driving. Makes you feel sorry for those that trailer their cars around and never get the pleasure of cruising.
