Oh my I may have to move. It's one thing after anoother. I can barely see the key board. The snow blindness. I need some sun shine. I can't stand it. MY cars have had the covers on them so long I have forgotten how they look. How about some mopars in the sun. The one good thing is the 1940 Plymouth is in the steel garage it's been fixed and tuned up. When the weather gets good I will drive it out and keep right on going:)

Rodney,

I managed to get a lot of work done before the snow and ice came. Saturday and Sunday I closed myself in the garage and got the oil pan and the head on. Torqued everything down, cleaned up the block, and spray painted it. It will go quickly now, but I have to wait till the weekend to work on it. Glad to see you didn't have any cars damaged with your tree incident.

Yes, I am. Quite handy. I wish I'd used grade 8 bolts though. I think the ones I' m using are struggling with the weight.

Replace them, 1 ata time, with g8 bolts why take a chance

We have some very cold temps right now, but even then we do have the bright sunshine and blue skies.

Not sure I could handle it without the sun...but this winter sure seems to be dragging on!

Cold but sunny...takes the edge off.

Only cooling off to minus 30 after sunset

It's kind of funny how the weather is going; they're predicting snow in San Francisco for tomorrow, the first time it's snowed since 1976!

Rodney,

I spoke to a guy in Alexandria last night and he told me they're expecting 70 degrees on Friday, so perhaps you might want to pack the '40 Plymouth tonight and get a good start early so you'll be well South before everything freezes at night.

We're expecting enough snow Friday to almost but not quite appear to have snowed, and then it's into the upper 50's for a week I'll be thinking of you as you're basking in the sun somewhere warm.

Our weatherman just said we may get 2 to 4 inches of stuff. He can pinpont where the temp gradient change will be so we could get rain, sleet, snow or a mix of all that stuff.

We had about 10 inches earlier this week. Then 1-2" the next day. Got about 2" last night with thunder and lightning. Prediction of 2-5" for tonight. The neighbor benind me went out of town and won't be back until Sunday. I told him I would take care of his walks if it snowed. We live on the corners so I've got about 250 feet along the sides of both houses and about 50 across the fronts to clear. And I do the front of the house next door. I'm tired already.

Well.....I've been in The Cleveland, Ohio area since the 7th and the weather has been up and down. The first week the temps went up in the 50's and melted all the snow, then last Sunday night it snowed about 6 inches. And now it's like it doesn't know what to do. I'm leaving here Saturday morning. Hopefully I'll get out of here before a blizzard hits. Back in shorts on Tuesday.:D

Ugggghhh. Just came in from snowblowing the driveway. Takes about 1hr 20min to do the whole thing. When I finished there was about a inch and a half of new stuff in the fisrt path I blew. Its about 31 degrees so it is the heavy stuff that like to bring down limbs and wires ad with no wind its pilling up pretty well. but the really heavy stuff missed us to the south. And the radar shows clearing already in the picture.

I have a rule, starting on March 1st. What ever falls after that is on its own for removal.

I have only had to break it 2 or three times since the 70's, so I'm putting my faith in statistics starting in 4 days.

I have the same rule except no starting date. I sold my snow shovel, snow blower, and front end loader when I moved away from Buffalo. Pictured below was my Buffalo driveway.
