Brad Lustig Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 I have NO idea who you might be referring to. Roberts and Kanter were both good to deal with when I've ordered parts. Quote
Merle Coggins Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 I think I might know who he's refering to. I won't mention his name, but it starts with an Andy and ends with a Bernbaum. When you have to call them you end up feeling like you were bothering them by calling. I even had him hang up on me once with a "I gotta go. I'll call you back. Click" He didn't even ask for a number to call be back with. Merle Quote
Guest Sheldon Bates Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 I have not heard of them what all do they sell?? Thanks Sheldon Quote
Jim Saraceno Posted March 24, 2007 Report Posted March 24, 2007 The funny thing is those two places are about 20 miles apart. Quote
Lou Earle Posted March 24, 2007 Report Posted March 24, 2007 The funny thing is those two places are about 20 miles apart. No they are a lot farther apart than that Quote
Jim Saraceno Posted March 25, 2007 Report Posted March 25, 2007 Ok, so actually 47.2 miles apart but 47.2 miles in Massachusetts is like 20 miles here in Missouri. I know, I grew up in New Hampshire. Quote
John Mulders Posted March 25, 2007 Report Posted March 25, 2007 The funny thing is those two places are about 20 miles apart. No they are a lot farther apart than that lol lou ! I don't know Roberts but AB is servicewise from before the stoneage... Still agry on the tierod ends that I installed and the rubber now is gone. John Quote
47heaven Posted March 25, 2007 Report Posted March 25, 2007 I had the same friendly "customer service" from, who I assume, was Mr. Bernbaum himself. Really knows how to make the customer feel like he or she is stupid or something, not to mention the "you buy it and it doesn't work...don't return it" policy. I told the guy, after I got frustrated with him, that it must be nice to have a business where you really must not need customers. Then, I hung up. I'm glad a lot of you guys warned me about him. Luckily I didn't buy anything from him. Especially, after reading some of the bad experiences that others have had. Hopefully, all the people that are new to the Mopar family, like me, can see these postings before ordering from him. I also hope he reads these postings so he can see what poor customer service he offers to prosperous customers. I did end up with buying from Roberts, and I agree that they are very coordial. Quote
47heaven Posted March 26, 2007 Report Posted March 26, 2007 Heaven 47I think you can delete one of your duplicate posts if you click on edit. Sorry about that. Sorry about that. Quote
JerseyHarold Posted March 27, 2007 Report Posted March 27, 2007 Back in the late 1970's I met Andy B. in person at a Mopar meet in Pennsylvania. He had an attitiude problem even then, and I have never dealt with him because of it. Quote
Brad Lustig Posted March 27, 2007 Report Posted March 27, 2007 I always thought it was a father/son issue. The father started the business and was OK to deal with. The son took over and he's the one with the charming personality. I guess the son learned it somewhere, though. And maybe the father knows to at least be nice to someone during a transaction. Quote
