dezeldoc Posted December 25, 2010 Report Posted December 25, 2010 I keep seeing those wild auctions and wonder when it is my turn to get some wild bidders! Quote
garbagestate 44 Posted December 25, 2010 Report Posted December 25, 2010 There are a small group of people out there for whom money really is no object. They watch the decimal points on there net worth change from one year to the next but don't really care. These people don't care if they over pay. Unlike myself who does a bunch of soul searching and prevaricating before spending 20 bucks on some piece of crap. That's the way it goes. Quote
thrashingcows Posted December 25, 2010 Report Posted December 25, 2010 I always start my auction cheap, and get what I get for them. I once listed a splash shield, rubber mat, for the front of a 69 300...ended up getting $150 for it!! I would have been happy with $10.... Quote
Lee Exline Posted December 28, 2010 Report Posted December 28, 2010 Took me a little while to find this but this is one of my current favorites. NOS Desoto horn button for $1,300.00 Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted December 28, 2010 Report Posted December 28, 2010 I know one of those in that condition is nearly impossible to find, but even at that, the price seems a little steep at $1300, for a horn center button. Makes that $240 radio noted above sound like a bargain. Quote
hkestes41 Posted December 28, 2010 Report Posted December 28, 2010 Took me a little while to find this but this is one of my current favorites.NOS Desoto horn button for $1,300.00 Yeah, but you get FREE shipping! Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted December 28, 2010 Report Posted December 28, 2010 As well you should at that price. Quote
