Nine versus Eleven grill teeth (commonly used for hot rodding).

What year is this DeSoto? I really like the hood scoop.

Edit, notice no thumbnail, hehehe...Copy and paste seems to give me larger pictures.

I could use that Grille for parts for mine. The center bar is different than mine but the teeth are the same. If it is for sale i am interested.

Sorry Lee, according to the thread he is very old and not parting anything out.....he is in kansas.

I knew you could do it!:P I much prefer this way as viewers no longer have to click on the thumbnail.

With that V just below the scoop means it will have (or most likely had) a 273cu hemi with a two speed powerflite tranny.

That was the same type of car I was admiring the other day. The owner of the Desoto can't decide what he wants to do with the Desoto except make an obscene profit. So, I plan to buy a '54 Chrysler Windsor in the same town with a 265 cu in flattie with a two speed powerflite. Should be practically a drop in for my '48 Desoto club coupe.

KB, it only works when I copy a picture directly from the net. Not from my photo gallery, no matter how many times I try [img/] it isn't loading, but that's all right, it'll come to me....:)

You have to click on the box with the mountains in it. http:// will come up in it as well. Delete that and them paste in your URL from your photo gallery and it should show the picture when you go to preview which is the easy way to check to see if it works OK. I know you can do this!:P
