Hi All,

I was delighted to read William's (Norman Pitkin's) post about the Rhythm Riot.

The event was fantastic.... Three days and nights with music and dancing 'til 5.00am.... I'm still recovering!

Someone sent me this link to a YouTube video you may enjoy.

Look out for Deano's green P15 sedan at 1.22 and 8.15.

William's Chrysler at 1.52, 8.22 and 13.57

And my P15 convertible at 9.46, 11.28 and 12.38

Plus lots of great on-the-road shots of over 100 cars, including a handful of other Mopars.

At 4.18 you can see the beautiful 1956 bus that we hire to run a shuttle service throughout the weekend. It also leads the cruise on Sunday afternoon.

Hope you enjoy the film.

Robin.

Robin,

Looks like you had another great event. The cars look beautiful. Whoever did the video did a good Job.

An amazing variety of vehicles in that parade/tour.

How the heck do you manage to keep everyone together? The tours I've been on, with far fewer cars, always end up with modern non-tour cars intermixed in the line.

Also, I see some pretty modern American LHD iron. I recall talking to some Australians and finding out that importing a LHD vehicle there was pretty much impossible, at least for anything built in the last few decades. The would have to be converted to RHD and that, in most cases, made the importation infeasible. What are the issues with importing LHD vehicles into Great Britain?

Thats fantastic!!! A real rolling, live museum!!! Thank you so much for letting me see your party.. I know I saw my beloved Vauxhall in there. What a great bunch of cars.

Thanks again.

Along with the car cruise, the weekend is even more about the music.

Many good rockabilly bands, jive dancing and period clothing.

Do wop group the Clefftones was one headliner.

Here's a link to one rockabilly band....

If you want to see and hear more, just go to You Tube and put in

"Rhythm Riot 2010".
