StayFrosty Posted November 1, 2010 Report Posted November 1, 2010 I'm in the process of re-wiring my 49 Plymouth and I figured as long as I have the dash out I should do something about the rusty wood grain on the dash and windshield trim. My windshield leaks a bit so the original wood grain is shot. Does anyone know of a place to affordably buy replacement wood grain? Would I be better off just sanding and painting the dash? Quote

desoto1939 Posted November 2, 2010 Report Posted November 2, 2010 I used the kit from the Grain-it company to do some wood graining pon my 39 Desoto. The pattern is curly maple. Rich Hartung Desoto1939@aol.com Quote
Harvey Tank Posted November 2, 2010 Report Posted November 2, 2010 I used the Grain-it Kit on my 1950 Ply. Takes a practice , I had to redo mine 4 times before I got it right. Quote
