Chester Brzostowski Posted October 10, 2010 Report Posted October 10, 2010 I installed some trim on the front clip and worked on cleaning up the parking light assemblies. The wife spent some time cleaning up my hub caps for both a polishing and the painting of the Plymouth emblems. One weekend at a time. I plan on putting on a coat of light wax next weekend along with some more trim. Polishing and cleaning is the bulk of this tedious work. Man she's looking good !!! Quote
jd52cranbrook Posted October 10, 2010 Report Posted October 10, 2010 Tedious work but well worth it. Man it is lookin good. Quote
RobertKB Posted October 10, 2010 Report Posted October 10, 2010 You are right. It will look stunning. I love a dark colour on these old girls as it really shows of the nice stainless and chrome trim and the curves stand out as well. You are doing great work!! Quote

Tony_Urwin Posted October 11, 2010 Report Posted October 11, 2010 The paint looks fantastic in the photos. Isn't it a little early for wax? Usually you have to let the paint cure for awhile before waxing. Quote

Usually you have to let the paint cure for awhile before waxing. Tony, The painter said I could put on a light liquid wax after about two weeks. The way things are shaping up around here it may be another two weeks before I can devote more time to the car. Basically wanted some wax on the body behind the trim prices. Hi Robin, How is the Ace Café doing. Chet… Quote
