Hey Guys, Are the drag link/center link arm from the steering box joints fixable or replaceable or do you have to replace the whole arm I have alot of slack in mine at the wheel side on this 52 dodge 1/2 ton truck front end Thanks for the help, Jason

They're a single unit (replacement required). Hopefully someone here will have a good used unit, or know of a NOS part for you. Mike

i myself modified a ford f-250 4X4 drag link. the tapers are correct, just a little small, so some washers are needed. i chopped out about 5-6" of the center and welded it back in with a tube. these are adjustable and readily replaceable.post-6582-13585356927325_thumb.jpg

Guys-check with your state. NY state won't allow any after manufacturer welding on steering components. Any type of welded repair will result in failure if the inspector catches it. I know that first hand. Mike

Not sure exactly which truck model number to look under, but the one I tried on RareParts.com showed that they had the tie rod ends and the drag link. Drag link cost was higher than the one in the eBay auction posted earlier. Anyway, it may be another source for a new replacement part.
