Would anyone happen to have a ribbed neck bolt for the upper door hinge that is threaded? My driver mirror is mounted on the upper hinge with the use of a ribbed bolt. The passenger side mirror was an add on and was screwed into the door. The ribbed bolt on the upper hinge on the passenger side is shorter than the driver side (because of not having the mirror mounts) and not threaded. I have copied the driver mirror mounts and I am ready to put them on the passenger side, but I need to find a correct bolt. Anyone help would be appreciated. If need be I will just weld a threaded portion of a bolt onto the old passenger ribbed bolt. But I would rather find an original that is threaded. thanks

Thank you both. Could you you let me know what you want for it? I measured the beast last night and it is 3 1/2 inches long and 5/16 diameter. I will be out of town until Saturday, so if you don't hear from me that is why. I am excited to get the bolt.

Yep, the bolt arrived in the mail and is exactly what I needed. Now I can mount the passenger side mirror as it is suppose to be mounted. I really appreciate your donation of the bolt to my old truck. I have come across so many generous people in this forum who want to help out and donated small parts. It is so wonderful.

not on that trip, but she has been on numerous trips this summer and maybe another this weekend. I installed a hitch on the 49 Plymouth and we took her to a couple of rod run/campouts too. She is a keeper.

Here is a picture of the mirror installed, with my new ribbed bolt you sent me Bud. I made the brackets and copied them from the driver side. There was a arm and brackets on EBay this weekend that I was bidding on but they went for $63. Mine look fairly nice, so I guess I wills stick with them.
