Uh, I think it's a Dodge, anyway...........

Borrowed pics from thread on the HAMB about a recent show in San Jose.

Definitely different.......not so pretty in my book..........but I guess the

owner likes it.

Posting it here just to show how others have done up old Mopars.

So, that black "thing" used to be a '49 Dodge? As they say...what a way to %$#& up a nice car. I have seen some hideous customs posted on here, but that definately takes the prize.

That blue Chrysler took me from a disturbed mood to a good one.

Yep.......I rather like many of the "Bombs"......since they retain their

original features and then are really dressed up.

"The two tone blue one in the background looks nice, as well. Can't figure out what it is though."

I think that one in the background is this one here...........

From a different thread over there, this 1960 (i think) Plymouth appeared

at the Puyallup, WA goodguys show.

I suspect there were some old Mopars there, but none turned up in the pics taken.....

mainly fords and chevs (imagine that).

bombs are great!

if only it was so easy to put skirts on a P10 like it is on a 47 chevy... the flow of the rear fender with the "speed lines" is so difficult to deal with.

some day i might try 15" rims as well, or maybe even 14"? no, that's too small.

can someone tell me if the early mopar blot circle is identical to other brands, ford, maybe?

Bob...it's the one two cars behind this. The one behind the black 46-48 Dodge.

There"s a two tone Chevy Fleetline fastback behind the Dodge.

Behind that is a dark red 46-48 Pontiac convertible.

You can click on the link I put below the Dodge photo and look thru

the pics on the hamb. I think both those cars are shown on the

third page. I can't access the hamb site from work (where I'm

filling in today) due to company filtering of certain websites.

I've seen that Plymouth up close and personal twice, won't say anymore, cept all have different ideas, that's what keeps the hobby goin.

I think those pics were from the Strangers event about a month about. There were lots of 40's Chevys there. All mostly done quite nice. And a nice 48 Dodge 4 door if if I can find the pic.

Here is a picture of a 48 Chevy convertible from our club.

Mine is the one beside it.(More of a before picture)

(Not sure what the after picture will be like, actually if all goes well, the after picture will look just like it except refreshed.)

The car in the background right behind the Dodge D24 is actually a

Pontiac, not a Chevy. In this shot, you can see the tail of the Dodge

in front of it.

It appears to be black over silver in color.........

On Page 3 of the hamb thread....in group of small pics.

The guy with the black beast(49) must like to try and sneak up on people:D . All that flat black and those angles must be into stealth . Not my style but each to there own . love the Dodge and Chev mild customs :D

Wow...both cars look great! That is the only way I would own a 1948 Chevy...all stock original.

Ok, it appeared to look like a two tone blue from a distance, as the photo depicted.
