pappy1952 Posted March 7, 2007 Report Posted March 7, 2007 Does anyone know of a company that has new crossmembers for the bed of a 1952 108" wheelbase. All 4 of them ones are bent pretty good and I have gone to several metal fabricating shops to see if they could bend them for me in the "U" shape and everyone I have gone to seems to come up empty with a way to reproduce these. Does anyone have any advice? Greg Quote

Guest Dodge Joe Posted March 20, 2007 Report Posted March 20, 2007 I used two angle irons I bought at lowes and put them together to make a u. Then I bolted it to the underside of the bed (mine was missing) did a good job. Joe Quote
jamesadams Posted March 22, 2007 Report Posted March 22, 2007 Bruce Horkey wood products. Don't remember the website, but a search wil turn it up. Also have reproduction tailgates and other parts. Quote
Young Ed Posted March 22, 2007 Report Posted March 22, 2007 Bruce is a good guy. Used his floor for dads 40 plymouth. Met him at back to the 50s last summer. Hope to be paying him a visit and getting a floor for my 40 one of these summers. Quote

My own personal choice is square tube. Quote
