i tried to read my distributor number on the little aluminium badge,

but i cannot read it any more.

what i have is

*GS-4109-1 | ***2012*

it also says "Chrysler Corp Solar Spark *something*"

(* is an erased letter or number)

andy b. say they can't help me on base of this information...

only thing left to do would be disassembling the dizzy and send them a photo

of the unit itself.

can anyone here make anything out of this info?

engine number is P10+276487A, but i'm not sure of the "A"...

thanks a lot in advance!

Capt Fred,

i have an autolite electrical catalog at home that goes upto 1951. If you tell me the year make and model of the car i will look this up inthe catalog and then beable to provide you with the distbuter number and also the various autolite numbers such as the points, condensor, rotor, cap, springs and weights that are used on the dizzy.

I will scan the info and send it in a PDF so you can have the information.

I will also do this for anyone else that needs information between 1938-51.

Hello Rich: Here is what I can make out on my dizzy ID plate.47 dodge truck WC15

Autolite Distributor p/n A243608 1CS0423A-1 Chrysler Corporation p/n 957376

I noted in your reply to Capt Fred that the letter after the 1 was G. My letter following the 1 is "C". Can that be correct? Appreciate it if you can send me a pdf to jtn8918@gmail.com. Thanks.

I have a '48 Plymouth Special Deluxe. I can make out the number IGS-4207-1 on the distributor. There are also two other numbers, one is ICC (or ICO) 22882 and the other is 11205?6 (I think it's 1120506).

When asked for the "distributor number" when ordering parts for a tune-up, which of these three numbers is the one I need to give?

Thanks.
