desoto1939 Posted June 30, 2010 Report Posted June 30, 2010 Capt Fred, i have an autolite electrical catalog at home that goes upto 1951. If you tell me the year make and model of the car i will look this up inthe catalog and then beable to provide you with the distbuter number and also the various autolite numbers such as the points, condensor, rotor, cap, springs and weights that are used on the dizzy. I will scan the info and send it in a PDF so you can have the information. I will also do this for anyone else that needs information between 1938-51. Rich Hartung Desoto1939@aol.com Quote

W.F. Brown- III Posted July 30, 2010 Report Posted July 30, 2010 I have a '48 Plymouth Special Deluxe. I can make out the number IGS-4207-1 on the distributor. There are also two other numbers, one is ICC (or ICO) 22882 and the other is 11205?6 (I think it's 1120506). When asked for the "distributor number" when ordering parts for a tune-up, which of these three numbers is the one I need to give? Thanks. Quote
W.F. Brown- III Posted July 30, 2010 Report Posted July 30, 2010 The IGS part is what they need. Thanks! Quote
