Reg Evans Posted June 7, 2010 Report Posted June 7, 2010 (edited) Lisa and I decided to go for a Sunday drive and out to breakfast yesterday morning. On the way back we decided to go check out Rollins Reservoir which is about 15 miles from my house. The reservoir is full and calling me .........and spring has finally sprung. Next time I'll have my boat in tow. Edited June 14, 2010 by Reg Evans Added another shot Quote

Reg Evans Posted June 7, 2010 Author Report Posted June 7, 2010 Great scene! I can hear the fish calling your name. Actually what you are probably hearing Greg is the fish laughing at me. The last time I tried fishing was about 15 years ago. I went with a friend and we stood on the same bank, used the same bait, same hooks and fished off the bottom. In 1 hour he had 6 trout and I had zero. I had had many prior fishing trips with the same results so I cast my whole pole in the water one last time and offically retired from that sport. I just enjoy cruising around enjoying the sites with friends and family and going for an occasional swim. Quote

I taught him everything I know, he went on to learn more and smoke ole dad every chance he gets. That's ok, if he's got a broke bolt or a problem with his truck ain't nobody cheaper, faster or better than dad. That was a good pic of your car by the water, love them wide whites. Quote
Reg Evans Posted June 9, 2010 Author Report Posted June 9, 2010 Flattie 46, Speaking of getting smoked. This is a photo of my grandson holding his catch from the same lake I have never caught a fish from. I guess some people are just natural born fisherman. The fish is almost as long as the pole he was using. Quote
JoelOkie Posted June 9, 2010 Report Posted June 9, 2010 Kids will do it to you every time...My son caught a near record farm pond bass when he was about the age/size of this little feller, on a "Snoopy" fishing pole, and of course it was the biggest fish caught that day. This is a good looking kid Reg, (looks a little like a young Chuck Norris) and don't you know he will look at that picture at least a 1000 times in the years to come. Joel Quote
Flatie46 Posted June 10, 2010 Report Posted June 10, 2010 Ha ha, Reg you need to send that pic into a sports magazine or at least the local paper. I've never caught a fish that big in my life. I bet you and his dad was really grinning about that. Quote
dynaflash_8 Posted June 10, 2010 Report Posted June 10, 2010 thats damn cute. I gotta find the picture from when we went to alaska fishing. Got a pic of me with my 200 pound halibut. it was taller than i am! Quote
