Young Ed Posted June 6, 2010 Report Posted June 6, 2010 Found this at automotion in WI dells. Now if anyone is thinking a project is going to well or taking too long we can see how long ma mopar expected the job to take. For instance my speedometer head replacement is supossed to take .7 hours. I've done it so many times now I think I can beat that Quote
Don Coatney Posted June 6, 2010 Report Posted June 6, 2010 Ed; Is this the same as a flat rate book? Quote
Young Ed Posted June 7, 2010 Author Report Posted June 7, 2010 Yup only the official mopar version. Never seen one before. Says my upcoming water pump job takes 1.1 hours. Interesting that everything isn't rounded to the 1/4 or 1/2 hour. How many minutes is 1.1 hours? 62? 65? Also the tables in the back for calculating cost show labor rates of $1 to $3. Quote
41/53dodges Posted June 7, 2010 Report Posted June 7, 2010 does it say how long to change a valve? Quote

rustyzman Posted June 8, 2010 Report Posted June 8, 2010 Ahhhh, we live or die by those books. We need a flat-rate book with an additional column of "with rust add.....". I bet I could sell that book to every shop in the country (at least in the rust belt). Very cool book you got there. Quote
