not ever trying to make any jealous ED... I post what I do mearly to show that if you get out and attend a swap meet, deals can be had...yes, e-bay can get your parts..swaps bring the fun into it..

Stuff I got this time was for building my engine for the the next project down the road. I lucked upon a E58 360 that the man had pulled from a police curiser and stored in the barn..bad part is he did not drain the block..this long hard winter here in Ga, froze and cracked the block..I got some of the goodies from that..I needed a crank as mine had a bit more thrust brg wear than alllowed...so bad for him..good for me this is a factory shot peened crank, he pulled it Friday night from the engine and brought it to me Saturday morning....truck 360 oil pan for same car..electronic remote sender for gear shift position NIB 1/2 price..5" booster w/Ford dual reservoir master for street rod, under floor or firewall mount model..set of the A-body curved exhaust manifolds we need to clear the steering shaft, set of power pack heads..brand new set of factory exhaust tips 2 in 1 style..bunch of other odds and ends small stuff..couple things for the shop..best part is I sold some stuff that came with other cars I had bought in the past that I never will use and actually came home with extra money after deducting all cost..so for me I had a great time...I did not take the camera..handful 30's Mopar was there..couple mid-late 50's and plenty of Mopar muscle cars..no forties or early fifty's at all..they had one street machine that busted 1200 horsepower on the dyno tester they had set up..I think he got the 1000.00 prize for that..heard it announce but did not go see what vehicle..

and the rat rods were there...again I like some of the radical things they do..but I also am glad this stuff is on their car not on mine..love their creativity..no so sure about the safety of some of these rides..I did not get too close to them for I think it has been too many years since I had a tetnus booster..

Milo and his son, from over on the truck forum, stopped by my space at the swap meet also...I was able to get by his son's place a week or so back and look at the truck they are putting together..gonna be a beaut..
