David Maxwell Posted March 24, 2010 Report Posted March 24, 2010 General Patton's neice was a neighbor of mine for the past 22 years. She passed away recently. She had lots of photos of herself with the general. She wasn't too much younger than he was (I believe she was 95 when she passed). I would have loved to look at all her old photos again to see if that car was in any of them. Quote
48P15Annie Posted March 25, 2010 Report Posted March 25, 2010 If thats true, it would be a neat peice to have! I am friends with General Patton's great-granddaughter. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted March 25, 2010 Report Posted March 25, 2010 I think that would be about the same as passing a 100.00 bill with Patton's face on it...while it may look good...you could be in for another ride of your life..I am sure that if there was any truth to all this it would have long ago been snarfed up and put in a museum somewhere..sounds just like some of them there magazine articles in overdrive... Dennis Hemingway Posted March 25, 2010 Report Posted March 25, 2010 The owner could donate it to here and use it as a tax write off. Dennis:rolleyes: http://www.generalpatton.org/index.asp Quote
