Merle Coggins Posted March 18, 2010 Report Posted March 18, 2010 Amazing... within 2 days you have 27 positive requests for the book. I can tell you all that this book has been invaluable. Many members here have praised my knowledge of our trucks, and I can say that a lot of that knowledge has come from this book. I would probably be tempted to buy another copy if it were available at a reasonable price again. So I guess you could say 28 now. I'll say it once again... "This Book is an Invaluable Tool When Building a Pilot-House Truck!!!" Speak up and ask for one so that the publisher has enough reason to reprint it. Quote
Allan Parkhurst Posted March 18, 2010 Report Posted March 18, 2010 I have one now but would buy another. I have some friends that would need one also. Quote
Willis Pingel Posted March 20, 2010 Report Posted March 20, 2010 Now that I'm almost done with my B1B I'd buy one just to see what I did wrong!!!! Bill Quote
Will Y Posted March 20, 2010 Report Posted March 20, 2010 I would buy one. PM me with the details if they decide to do a reprint. Quote
Charles Furman Posted March 21, 2010 Report Posted March 21, 2010 I think I have a copy somewhere, but I would buy another one. Put me on the list. Quote
keith"s53 Posted March 26, 2010 Report Posted March 26, 2010 I'll by one in a hot minute. I just received my truck yesterday and need a real nice reference book. Quote
Dennis_MN Posted March 29, 2010 Report Posted March 29, 2010 I'll buy one as well. The book that I use for my bible is called "Dodge Pickups" and it was written by Don Bunn and Tom Brownell. It has a section on the B-series and it has a section on Restoration. Quote
mrizzodpm Posted March 29, 2010 Report Posted March 29, 2010 I'd like to get a copy of the book. If its out of print would it be legal for someone to copy the pages and sell it to us? Quote
MBF Posted March 29, 2010 Report Posted March 29, 2010 Have you thought about contacting the publisher/printer to see if this could be made available via "Print on Deman" or pod? The essence of that is that the material is printed as requested on demand. 1 request, 1 book etc. This avoids the long wait of getting to a minimum required number of copies before a regular production run can be scheduled. Just a thought. Mike copies. Quote
Bob_Koch Posted March 29, 2010 Author Report Posted March 29, 2010 Mike, The publisher indicated they have on occasion done a small reprint of some of their books. I don't know what "small" means yet. I will be contacting them again this week to see what we can arrange. Print on demand, or an electronic version in pdf form are some other options to consider, but it's up to what the publisher is willing to make available. We'll see. I wanted to put the question here on the forum in order to show him there is a definite interest for doing another repirnt. I think we have that now. Quote
1955 plymouth Posted April 13, 2010 Report Posted April 13, 2010 I also need one, I have the '52 and I am getting ready to swap cabs with a five window. I would love to have one. Quote
samhamburg Posted April 19, 2010 Report Posted April 19, 2010 I am also interested. Know a lot of people in Germany who would also be intersted. Quote
