Not sure of the start. Last year was 1950. I've seen as early as 1937. Not sure if there are earlier ones.

I believe the wood bodies were all built by Briggs not Plymouth.

Don,

I think most of the Plymouth woodie bodies were made by U.S. Body & Forging. I know the one on my '41 was built by that company.
