1just4don Posted February 13, 2007 Report Posted February 13, 2007 But can remember riding in it and watching the ground fly by thru the floor. Dads solution was to throw a 'paper' sack over the hole and continue driving it that way. Till cans of stuff and sledge hammers could drop clear thru the hole. You always had the feeling of sticking your foot thru and dragging the gravel or pavement. Dads solution to fixing stuff was park it in the shed till you didnt remmeber you had to fix anything, then back it out, drive it anyway, then repark so you again forgot!! Quote
Young Ed Posted February 13, 2007 Report Posted February 13, 2007 Here's the wood hauler we have at the cabin. I enjoy watching the ground pass by below my feet. Quote
55 Fargo Posted February 13, 2007 Report Posted February 13, 2007 Hay that looks pretty darn good, what did you paint the cab with. Wouldn't mind havin that around where I live here in the sticks...........Fred Quote
Young Ed Posted February 13, 2007 Report Posted February 13, 2007 My dad hit it with a DA and then he and my sister brushed some slightly thinned john deere yellow tractor paint on it. This truck gave up many good pieces for my pickup and dads 40 plymouth. The bumper is on my truck one box side and rear fender are on dads. Also we swapped 3spd to 4spd in this one so dads 40 has a 3spd. There's just enough left to have some fun in the woods. Quote
Normspeed Posted February 13, 2007 Report Posted February 13, 2007 Great old truck Ed. Still doing what it was made to do, after all those years. Quote
