Since the pic seems to be set in 59 or 60 (the newest car is the 59/60 Chevy in the lower right corner) It seems the folks at the phone booth on the board walk are probably having more luck actuelly communicating. Maybe the guy just had his Eureka moment andid the inventor of the cursed things............. And using a shovel to keep you kid restrained in the pickup bed might be looked at as child cruelty these days. Quote

I am going with he is listening to a baseball game on his transistor radio....and the guy using the phone booth is wearing his pants real high like the old days with a thin dress belt:) that booth style came out around????70's?
