Fernando Mendes Posted December 18, 2009 Report Posted December 18, 2009 Need a help to know what is written in this air cleaner warning. Quote
TodFitch Posted December 18, 2009 Report Posted December 18, 2009 Probably something like this one that is, I'm told, correct for my 1933: Available from: Jim Osborn Reproductions 101 Ridgecrest Drive Lawrenceville, GA 30045 Telephone: +1.770.962.7556 Fax: +1.770.962.5881 email: josborn@osborn-reproduction.com http://www.osborn-reproduction.com/ With his part number being DD0363 Actually, it would not surprise me if the one for your newer car is slightly different but I would guess that Osborn Reproductions would have that one too. greg g Posted December 18, 2009 Report Posted December 18, 2009 It is cleaning instructions: remove the filter element, soak in Kerosene and dry. Then re oil with light oil and re assemble. Quote
Fernando Mendes Posted December 19, 2009 Author Report Posted December 19, 2009 I put my air cleaner without re-oil this morning, because I didn't see the answers before. My plot air filter is with some rusts because the oil don't stay there always, only the condensation.**PS:I withdrew the right front fender shield extension, with a brush removed the old paint, removed the rusts and paint black again.See the pics.Today here is 37º C=100ºF.
