Hello all,

I'm new to this forum, so I thought I should introduce myself. I live in the northern fringe of Pennsylvania's Lehigh Valley, not far from Hawk Mountain. Forty and more years ago, I was really into cars. Marriage, children, house ownership, and workin-for-a-living pushed hobby cars way into the background.

Now I am kinda sorta (involuntarily) retired, and cars are back in my mind. Thirty years ago, my wife and I bought a 41 Plymouth 2-door sedan from the original owner. We drove it from time to time, but after a few years, it was garaged. The attached photos were taken right after we got the car, so it doesn't look so good any longer.

In the last couple of months, I've cleared the clutter from around it and have surfed the internet for ideas, inspiration, and information on rehabbing the Plymouth and getting it back on the road. From what I've seen of this forum, it'll be a great resource for a guy like me.

Thanks,

BS

Welcome to the best forum on the WWW. The guys here are really knowledgeable and willing to share that knowledge. If you have questions, they will get answered. Love your car as the '41 Plymouth was one of the nicest years every made.

Nice looking car there, Buford. Welcome.

When you get ready, go ahead and ask.

You can go back in the archives of the forum to see what info has

previously been posted about a given topic. Tool to do that is in

upper right corner of main page.

Also, it's advisable to have a Repair Manual and Parts Manual - if you don't

already have them. Lots of good info in those two.

Welcome to the board Buford. I too am partial to the '41 Plymouth. Does your engine turn over. That is a big plus for a car that has not been in use for sometime. Good luck to you.

This is a welcome from a another newbie. I'll tell you Buford, if someone on this site doesn't have an answer, there probably isn't one. I have learned an amazing amount about my P15 in the last few months, mostly from this forum.
