Norm's Coupe Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 And let the madness begin. For that price, I like my delete plate better. Anyway, I wear my clock on my wrist. It works in any car. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted December 12, 2009 Author Report Posted December 12, 2009 I carry no watch..except for that thing built into my cell phone..should I remember to take it with me.. This clock is already above and beyond the price I would pay but then I have two already..I know a few folks are looking and with the busy holiday season, posting here would be a benefit to all... Quote
Norm's Coupe Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 I knew why you posted that. I've seen those post to about people looking for the clock. Will be interesting to see what this one goes for. At least if someone buys it, it will have the correct time twice a day. Quote
T120 Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 ...Between parting with $150 for that clock or having a delete plate -for me there would be no question -I'd choose a delete plate..Another reason I like auto swap meets. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted December 12, 2009 Author Report Posted December 12, 2009 Gee Norm..just trying to be forum friendly..last survey showed that people want the e-bay post of hot or hard to find items dumped in their lap..no one complainded about the fact that maybe they were sniped due to a posting here.. Quote

Tim, I didn't complain about the post. Doesn't matter either way to me, and never has. But.....still will be interesting to see what it finally goes for. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 Have seen better looking and worse looking clocks out there. Don't think I'd give $150 for this one....but don't need one either. Where are all these old Plyms at the shows and cruises????? Seems the parts are going kinda high with often several bidders trying for stuff. Must be a lot of P15s under construction. Quote
Norm's Coupe Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 Bob, I think a lot of the bidders you see on ebay are just the sellers buddy's bidding up the price of things for them, instead of real buyers. That's why I stopped buying/bidding on ebay a long time ago. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 Sometimes I wonder about that, Norm. However, I do get a respectable deal on things from time to time. Last things I bought were a couple N O S front bumper guards and a king pin set in the last month or so. Pretty amazing what some folks seem willing to pay for things. Quote
screwshiney Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 sory to hyjack but what years are these out of? Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted December 12, 2009 Author Report Posted December 12, 2009 the cost of shipping is padded a bit but not that extreme compared to some folks and what they ask/ad to the listing..the bulk size of the clock and sufficeint padding to protect it requires the next size up flat rate box for the PO..lot of people going to the flat rate boxes..I would rather see this than than possibily a damaged item forced into a smaller box or inside a shipping pouch.. the P15 clock is as thick as the D24 though not as big in diameter..neither will fit the approx. 5.00 flat rate shipping box..
