This clock is already above and beyond the price I would pay but then I have two already..I know a few folks are looking and with the busy holiday season, posting here would be a benefit to all...

I knew why you posted that. I've seen those post to about people looking for the clock. Will be interesting to see what this one goes for. At least if someone buys it, it will have the correct time twice a day.

...Between parting with $150 for that clock or having a delete plate -for me there would be no question -I'd choose a delete plate..Another reason I like auto swap meets.

Tim, I didn't complain about the post. Doesn't matter either way to me, and never has. But.....still will be interesting to see what it finally goes for.

Seems the parts are going kinda high with often several bidders

I think a lot of the bidders you see on ebay are just the sellers buddy's bidding up the price of things for them, instead of real buyers. That's why I stopped buying/bidding on ebay a long time ago.

Sometimes I wonder about that, Norm. However, I do get a respectable deal on

things from time to time. Last things I bought were a couple N O S front bumper

guards and a king pin set in the last month or so. Pretty amazing what some folks

seem willing to pay for things.

the cost of shipping is padded a bit but not that extreme compared to some folks and what they ask/ad to the listing..the bulk size of the clock and sufficeint padding to protect it requires the next size up flat rate box for the PO..lot of people going to the flat rate boxes..I would rather see this than than possibily a damaged item forced into a smaller box or inside a shipping pouch.. the P15 clock is as thick as the D24 though not as big in diameter..neither will fit the approx. 5.00 flat rate shipping box..
