Joe Flanagan Posted December 7, 2009 Report Posted December 7, 2009 Aside from Rhode Island Wiring, can anyone recommend a source? I seem to remember a recent post where someone mentioned getting a roll of the stuff. Quote

David Maxwell Posted December 7, 2009 Report Posted December 7, 2009 Rhode Island though you don't seem to want to use them. I know that both these places have their own looms which allows them to match the original Chrysler patterns on the wires. Don't know anything about American Autowire, but if they have a website, I'd like to check them out myself. Quote
hkestes41 Posted December 7, 2009 Report Posted December 7, 2009 Joe, If you are just looking for spools of wire rather than a harnes try these guys. Brillman The first page just shows black but if you click on the different gauges above it will show the various colors available. They also have some other neet stuff in other parts of the site. http://brillman.com/index.php?cPath=23_43_48 Also give the Hot Rod Company a shot they have the wire as well. http://www.thehotrodcompany.com/shopnow/show_dept.asp?dept_id=66&filterkey=prc Quote
Joe Flanagan Posted December 7, 2009 Author Report Posted December 7, 2009 Thanks, guys. I'm planning on doing a wire-by-wire replacement on the car. I looked at Rhode Island's site briefly and it looked to me they only sold entire harnesses. I'm interested in spools. Quote
oldmopar Posted December 7, 2009 Report Posted December 7, 2009 They do sell the wire by the foot I emailed them about a year ago Quote

desoto1939 Posted December 7, 2009 Report Posted December 7, 2009 When Rhode Island Wire was at Hershey they would sell you any amount of individual wire that you need. I have also purchased supplies from them. They even did a rear taillight harness for me that I had them add an extra wire for grounding and they did not charge me anything extra for the wire. They will listen to what you have to ask and alwasys try to accompdate you. Here is an example. I had noticed that they were cloth wrapping their harness for the 39 Dodge/Ply /Chry and Desoto. I showed them an original harness that had braiding on it with a blue sticker. They then changed ther production line to have the braided outer covering. I recommend them since I have used them several times. Rich HArtung Desoto1939@aol.com Quote
