Niel Hoback Posted November 24, 2009 Report Posted November 24, 2009 If you have to settle for a set that is too low, just build a platform to make them the right height. Quote
Oldguy48 Posted November 24, 2009 Report Posted November 24, 2009 I've got a set of buckets from a 1995 Pontiac Bonneville. The bonny's engine trashed itself, and the seats were too nice to junk. I just need to figure out what the proper seat height should be, and fabricate a raised platform for them. Since when I got my P15, the original front seat had been removed. Quote
greg g Posted November 24, 2009 Report Posted November 24, 2009 check out the Saab or Volvo convertibles as the seats are very comfortable and the three point seat blets are built in. Might be a bit pricey but even out of old ones the leather would still be very nice. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted November 24, 2009 Report Posted November 24, 2009 there are seat brackets out there that are made just for this...they are totally adustable though sliding angles and will adjust to about any height and seat cushion bottom angle..they were about 40.00 a set (set does two buckets) Ihave a set on hand here somewhere for the eventual install in the 41 K1 Quote
Rodney Bullock Posted November 25, 2009 Report Posted November 25, 2009 Hey BILL, in my rod they used f body seats. Firebird or honda they have the platform. You can also get electric adjustment. IN MY 55 CHEVY i HAVE PONTIAC SEATS they make great two tone candidites. Quote
Norm's Coupe Posted November 26, 2009 Report Posted November 26, 2009 Bill, The seats in this 41 Plymouth came out of a Ford Explorer. Quote
