JIPJOBXX Posted November 19, 2009 Report Posted November 19, 2009 John (Carberatorparts) potucek@optonline.net I have dealed with John and he is a very responsible person and probably all the info plus parts to rebuild your old carberator. Quote
desoto1939 Posted November 20, 2009 Report Posted November 20, 2009 According to my AEA book if you have the carb model E7A1 then the rebuld kit is carter 1384 this would have been used for all 46-48 Chryslers with the flat 8. if youhad the stomberg then the carb model is AAVS-2 and the repair kit is RK-132 Rich HArtung desoto1939@aol.com Quote
Norm's Coupe Posted November 20, 2009 Report Posted November 20, 2009 If you have the number off the side of the carb., you can probably go to NAPA or some other parts store and buy a rebuild kit for it. Just give them that number. Quote
JIPJOBXX Posted November 20, 2009 Report Posted November 20, 2009 Give John an e-mail as he will also probably send you along a schematic of your carburetor also. Nice guy to deal with and have know him for years. Quote
greg g Posted November 20, 2009 Report Posted November 20, 2009 try the carburetor doctor site. or the Carburetor King site Quote
