I just clicked on the site Dennis gave you and it took me 15 seconds to find the answer. It is neither gloss black nor semi black. Take Mr. Hemmingways advice and look to see how easy it is.

Well, if you read that and it says semi gloss, then that's the correct way. But.....like the others said, you can paint them purple with pink polka dots if you want, it's your car. I painted mine gloss black because I like shinny things.:)

I used gloss black on mine, as I did on the radiator......to make it shinier and

brighter under the hood. I don't believe a single person has questioned the

color used since I did it 10 or 12 years ago. (Have never entered a show put on

by the Plymouth Owners Club.....who probably would take exception.)
