Dennis Hemingway Posted October 24, 2009 Report Posted October 24, 2009 I have posted this for you before. Please look it up. Dennis:rolleyes: http://www40.addr.com/~merc583/mopar/framesets/referenceframeset.html Quote
Don Coatney Posted October 24, 2009 Report Posted October 24, 2009 It is your car. Paint your horns what ever color you want to. Or man up and look up the answer yourself as you have been given the link to do so many times. Quote
58prostreet Posted October 24, 2009 Report Posted October 24, 2009 Mike I just clicked on the site Dennis gave you and it took me 15 seconds to find the answer. It is neither gloss black nor semi black. Take Mr. Hemmingways advice and look to see how easy it is. Bob Quote
michael.warshaw Posted October 24, 2009 Author Report Posted October 24, 2009 well i know it says semi black, just wanted to make sure. Quote
Norm's Coupe Posted October 25, 2009 Report Posted October 25, 2009 Michael, Well, if you read that and it says semi gloss, then that's the correct way. But.....like the others said, you can paint them purple with pink polka dots if you want, it's your car. I painted mine gloss black because I like shinny things. Quote
Captain Neon Posted October 25, 2009 Report Posted October 25, 2009 Surprised that you didn't get'em gold-plated Norm. They'll never rust that way. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted October 25, 2009 Report Posted October 25, 2009 I used gloss black on mine, as I did on the radiator......to make it shinier and brighter under the hood. I don't believe a single person has questioned the color used since I did it 10 or 12 years ago. (Have never entered a show put on by the Plymouth Owners Club.....who probably would take exception.) greg g Posted October 25, 2009 Report Posted October 25, 2009 Been tempted to paint mine pink and pinker if you get my drift.................. Quote

greg g Posted October 25, 2009 Report Posted October 25, 2009 Go figure! I had hoped I would not have to do this, but visual aids are always helpful for some........................... Quote

power_hungry Posted October 25, 2009 Report Posted October 25, 2009 My wife just said " Don't EVEN think about it!" Quote
Don Coatney Posted October 25, 2009 Report Posted October 25, 2009 Here is a much better picture. In the one Greg posted my windshield was way too dirty. Quote
58prostreet Posted October 25, 2009 Report Posted October 25, 2009 Greg I think I got your drift. Is semi black the same as gray? Just couldn"t resist being a smart a$$. Bob Quote
greg g Posted October 25, 2009 Report Posted October 25, 2009 That would depend on whether it was gloss or satin. Or is it a Road tractor only color???? Quote
michael.warshaw Posted October 25, 2009 Author Report Posted October 25, 2009 not a bad idea afterall. Quote
