Rodney Bullock Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 I was in Hershey yesterday :mad:wall to wall people. lots of over priced cars. i called Mike however he was on his way home at the time. i got so pissed off at this one vendor.:(he had a hood ornament for a 1940 Plymouth on his table he wanted 395.00 dollars for it. called it NOS:eek: he was not kidding! I have 3 of these in a shoe box down starts, I would sell for 25.00 dollars tops. e had some headligt bezels for a 1941 100.00 and 150.00. It's getting out of hand. I am very glad I am not building anymore cars. It is very very scary out there. lot's of good deals in the rows, the people sell cars in the vendor spots were very reasonable. I met some great people there as well. Pic's to follow:) Quote

Don Coatney Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 Kant wait to hear what bargains were found there by the thread starter. Quote
Oldguy48 Posted October 11, 2009 Report Posted October 11, 2009 Went to Hershey for the day. There's too much to see in one day, although I only saw two P-15s all day. One 4-door,and one coupe. Not too much representation for old Mopars. There was a Tucker convertible on exhibit there. 0 miles, and 0 owners. It was never titled. Wow...That car was awesome. Always had a passing interest in the Tuckers, and got the opportunity to see the ultimate example of Tucker's engineering.:D Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted October 11, 2009 Report Posted October 11, 2009 Isn't this car the one in question as to authenticity..as in reports were it was assembled long after the Tucker shutdown from NOS parts but the convertible secion was that of the assembler..odds are the lower panels only were available as "collision" parts thus no roof section available...at least this is what I remember being discussed at one time... Quote
Oldguy48 Posted October 11, 2009 Report Posted October 11, 2009 You could be correct. I'm only going by what was presented at the exhibit. I really don't know much about these vehicles, but have an interest nontheless. Quote
Oldguy48 Posted October 11, 2009 Report Posted October 11, 2009 Tim, I did a bit of surfing, and looks like you are right. Evidently this vehicle was built after the Tucker business folded, although a convertible was already in the works. Thanks for the correction. ( It's still an awesome vehicle). Quote

michael.warshaw Posted October 11, 2009 Author Report Posted October 11, 2009 i believe for that blue four door they were only asking like 8k Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted October 11, 2009 Report Posted October 11, 2009 sticker in the window says 14,500.00 Quote
Rodney Bullock Posted October 11, 2009 Report Posted October 11, 2009 That car was super clean, The carsa that were in the rows were very reasonable. There was another Plymoth on the surround road for 19,500 I could not believe my eyes. I saw some horns there on a table not far from the 35 Plymouth, did you see them Mike? Quote
michael.warshaw Posted October 11, 2009 Author Report Posted October 11, 2009 no didnt see them. Quote
