Went out today to see the progress on the repaint of my '48 Dodge D25C. The fellow doing it likes to see you every week or so and ask a few questions he has about what you might or might not want. He also likes to have a couple of beers while doing this. I am always ready to supply these as he does wonderful work and really enjoys working on the old cars. He is not interested in anything new and repaired under insurance unless you know him. Anyway, here are Week 1 pictures of the repaint. Interestingly, his brother has had a D25 4-door sedan sitting on the property for years and I have tried to buy parts off it many times. He now says it has to go, so for a reasonable sum I have purchased this car and will be parting it out in the near future. It is full of rot and mice but has virtually all trim including the hard to find rocker panel trim mouldings in decent shape. I will post pictures when I pick it up shortly. Anyway, here are this week's pictures.
