HalfdollarMayflower Posted September 11, 2009 Report Posted September 11, 2009 This may get me banned, but what the hell. Just wanted to say thanks to all of our veterans, public servants, and hard-working P15'ers for the opportunity to pursue my love affair with the automobile. I will never forget. Quote
Niel Hoback Posted September 11, 2009 Report Posted September 11, 2009 I they kick you off for that, then they may as well kick me off too because I feel exactly the same way. Everything I have I owe to those who fought for before I came along. Quote
woodie49 Posted September 11, 2009 Report Posted September 11, 2009 Why would that get you banned? It is an important sentiment. I work for a video game developer, which means I am pretty much older than most our employees' parents, but I was shocked when someone made a reference to 911 this morning and it took a few seconds of confused concentration for some of the "kids" to remember the significance of the day. This ain't history yet, they were all around. We take so much for granted. Quote
michael.warshaw Posted September 11, 2009 Report Posted September 11, 2009 i was very close to 911, nothing like being in ny when it happend. Quote
Joe Flanagan Posted September 11, 2009 Report Posted September 11, 2009 Like my brother was, who worked for Kantor-Fitzgerald and happened to be late getting to work that day. I was sitting in gridlock traffic watching a column of black smoke rising up from the Pentagon listening to the radio and not knowing whether he was in his office at the WTC or not. I'm grateful to have him around today. Quote
Dennis Hemingway Posted September 11, 2009 Report Posted September 11, 2009 I have been in the garage getting the cars ready for a show on Saturday. I have the Aremican Flag Flying High and I have had this song playing all day.
