Ok, I've had enough of this weather here in CT, it was 81 this morning at my house and 75% humidity. If you did anything more than think you were sweating badly. This weather has been stopping me from any progress on the plymouth. Then when it gets dusks the killer mosquito's come out, they love this weather.

Our weather here in MO varies.......was about 69 degrees this morning, a little humid.

Has been in the 80s and 90s along.

Rained like crazy Wed night.....had some flooding in the area.

I guess that old saying about the weather is true....."if you don't like what it's

doing right now, just wait a bit and it will change".

We keep getting hot then rain. I mowed grass yeaterday at the property that was my dad's Just over an acre, had to do it twice since it had grown about 6 inches from the last time 8 days ago. It was i the high 80's o breeze and high humidity. When I got done, it rained again and I swear I could hear it growing again. Today i was going to mow the house yard, but it raind hard last night and grass is still wet, but its to damn hot to work on installing the shifter in the Studebaker. Maybe this afternoon i can mow and then if it cools off this evening I will work the shifter install. Gotta put the acc pump pistins in the plymouth and check it over for the Maryland trip.

Thanks for rubbing it in Norm!!!

I can't wait for cool fall weather, my favorite time of the year. My yard is a jungle, we've had nothing but rainy weather this year, if it wasn't cold and rainy, it was hot and rainy. My back yard needs a machette taken to it!!

Here it's been a rainy week--had to mow one morning before work---wet--but was able to get it done--between the raindrops. Lots of people in the area for the NASCAR race at Bristol. Hopefully, I can find some time this weekend to tinker with the '41.

We live approx 2-3 hours west of Bristol Ct. We had 72 degrees and very high humidity at 7am. In fact we had the A/C going at that time. First time this summer that the night air didn't cool the house down. So far today we have had a tornado watch that was suppose to end at 1:30pm, but extented until 2pm. Thankfully no tornado, but we have had an inch and a half of rain out of some darn heavy thunderstorms. As I type this at 3:30pm it is still raining but thankfully the A/C is off and the humidity is basically gone, not to mention that the windows are now open:)

I have absolutly no idea how you can tolerate temps like that, Dry heat or not. Breathing in that heat seems to kill my lungs.

In elevated dry temperatures you can drink a gallon of water an hour and never sweat nor urinate. Moisture evaporates before it reaches the liquid state. I would rather have 100 degrees with 20% humidity than 80 degrees with 95% humidity.

As I write this my wife Lisa is on a sail boat somewhere in the middle of Keuka Lake. Hope she does not get blown away.

I really hope those storms and front is on it's way towards us, can't wait for this to break.

Hey I was out your way not too long ago, we should try to meet up sometime. Lots of car shows coming up and fall activities in the area.

radioguy7,

I would enjoy meeting up with you if possible. I don't take the Plymouth to any car shows other than in a real close area of Neversink. I did take her to Rhinebeck in '99 just for giggles.

I belong to an antique tractor club that has its annual show Sept 19 and 20 at the fairgrounds in Grahamsville,NY. We get a decent turnout of old cars and naturally tractors. If memory serves me correct this is the tenth annual show. It is not judged and so far we have had decent weather each year.
