PatS.... Posted January 25, 2007 Report Posted January 25, 2007 I like it...can I take it for a test drive??? Quote
Norm's Coupe Posted January 25, 2007 Report Posted January 25, 2007 I don't care for that roll bar in the interior. Also, it says this car was professionally done. That said, check out the paint closely, especially the close up of the front of the left front fender. Looks like they have a little orange peel in their paint. Other area's look like they could use a little more rubbing out for a better shine too. I do like what they did basically. Just don't like that roll bar. Looks like the rear wheels are tubbed too. Don't like that either, if they are. Quote
Normspeed Posted January 25, 2007 Report Posted January 25, 2007 Nice P24. Didn't the guy that was building this with his dad post some stuff about the project on the forum last year? Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted January 25, 2007 Report Posted January 25, 2007 This car for some reason does look familar...I like it for sure..however as our original Norm said..lose the roll cage..and install a decent back seat...this car is very well appointed..nice in and out..but I would have to see the before and during shots to invest the coin this car will bring...it is only about 2 1/2 hours from me...how many want to chip in and get it for me..I can send you pictures of it..gas reciepts, nah..make that send you gas bills...let you come view it (at your cost) and on your birthday a filmed burnout in your honor...hey ..how can you go wrong? Young Ed Posted January 25, 2007 Report Posted January 25, 2007 Interesting is a 3 pass with buckets. Can't say I've ever seen that before. Also he seems to have spent a ton on everything else and then installed a very low end pioneer cd player! Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted January 25, 2007 Report Posted January 25, 2007 Its a three passenger due to the roll bar...guess its for the babies safety seat... Quote
1just4don Posted January 26, 2007 Report Posted January 26, 2007 Not to roll it,then you dont NEED a roll bar. Waste of iron in my book. Could waste those flames too for my taste and pick something other than baby diaper 'filling' mustard yellar. Can you tell I think there are better colors in any paint book than that one,too bright, needs a good bronze or copper tone. And 'a' bucket seat on the rear of a car?? Why not throw a log back there or maybe a couple three five gallon size metal buckets with a board across to set on. Can you tell, this isnt my cup of tea!!! Quote
Ex-coach Posted January 29, 2007 Report Posted January 29, 2007 unfinished braided hose ends under the hood for that kind of money. That is something easy and really finishes the look for a potential buyer. If I was contemplating buying it and saw that I would wonder "what else didn't they finish?". my .02 Dan Quote
