OT Lunch at Peggy Sue's OT

A group of rodders from Boron and Barstow, Ca. got togeather last Saturday at Peggy Sue's 50's Diner in Yermo for lunch. Attached are some of the cars that were there.

Last time I went through Boron it was for sale. The entire town was for sale. There was a sign on the highway announcing it, but I never bothered to find out the asking price. That was twenty years ago, and I guess somebody got it because those are some sweet rides for a ghost town.

Hi Dennis, thanks for posting the pics. I hope to see you on next year's Route 66 Fun Run, in May. Just for fun, I entered Peggy Sue's 50's Diner at Google maps. Some of the comments were like reading a redneck's/road rage diary. Some love the place, some seem to want to blow it up.

Peggy Sue's has been here for a long long time. The front of the diner faces Old Hwy 91 (Old road to Las Vegas) and the back faces I-15 (the freeway to Las Vegas). They also have a neat ice cream counter with a store that sells repo 50's items.
