BobT-47P15 Posted May 7, 2009 Report Posted May 7, 2009 Seller says this is a 1946 Plymouth. I don't think so......not that it matters to me. I won't be buying it. Norm's Coupe Posted May 7, 2009 Report Posted May 7, 2009 Well Bob, as the old saying goes. We can buy them books and send them to school, but we can't make them learn. Quote

Agreed. During my ebay heyday I picked this up at a steal on ebay because it was listed wrong. And, it works as good as it looks. Picked up a few other interesting items back then too. But........don't do ebay anymore. Quote
Jim Saraceno Posted May 8, 2009 Report Posted May 8, 2009 And I always thought it was... "You can lead a horse to water but you can't teach him a freakin' thing!" Quote

I finally found the ever-elusive center grille section for my 42 Dodge coupe that way. The guy thought it was for a Diamond T truck. It's even NOS. AND rusty in the rear. You can bet your bippy the rust will get cleaned off the rear of the grille pieces, the rears will be painted with POR-15,then top-coated with epoxy paint, and then waxed before they go into the car. It is impossible to get behind them to clean, and taking the grille out of a 42 is a monster job. Quote
