Just stumbled across this truck

I have never seen this truck before. Looks to be sitting kinda high.

Color not my preference but looks good, different twotone treatment. Beautiful engine. He used a hose for his fuel line instead of a small 'pipe'. Is there any advantage one over the other?

I prefer metal lines but I doubt it makes much difference. I suppose eventually you'll have a chance of a leak as the hose wears out. I also noticed he used a generic flex hose for the lower radiator.

If that is the original paint (or a copy of the original paint) it makes it a rare Spring Special truck.
