Don Jordan Posted March 14, 2009 Report Posted March 14, 2009 While I'm sure they existed I don't really remember MoPar cop cars. Taxi cabs yes. Remember Broadrick Crawford - what did he drive? Buick? Pontiac? I don't know why I thought of that. 10 4 Quote
Dennis Hemingway Posted March 14, 2009 Report Posted March 14, 2009 It depended on who got the contract that year. Broadrick Crawford - Drove a Buick one year and a Dodge another. Same in real life we had Dodges, Plymouths, Chevys, Fords, and even AMC. Dennis:cool: Quote

BobT-47P15 Posted March 14, 2009 Author Report Posted March 14, 2009 If you'll notice, the small hubcaps on the 59 Dodge police car look just like the center part of the same year full wheel cover. Quote
randroid Posted March 14, 2009 Report Posted March 14, 2009 gents, The quote from 'Blues Brother's' aside, the show was supposedly occurring in Nevada so why are there California tags on the cars? 21-40 bye. -Randy Quote
JerseyHarold Posted March 16, 2009 Report Posted March 16, 2009 The outdoor scenes of Highway Patrol were filmed in California on private roads because Broderick Crawford lost his driver's license due to DWI so couldn't legally drive a car on public streets. The CHP used '55 Buick Special two-door sedans equipped from the factory with the larger Century engine and three-on-the-tree transmission. Quote
