I went to the salavage yard this weekend the only one that had a 46-48 plymouth and when the guy went to take the emblems off for me he snapped all the studs and all I left with was a ash trey from the back seat..Was wondering if anyone had any extra emblems the front plymouth one and the two special deluxe ones on the side they would be willing to sale??

Sounds like the salvage yard guy wasn't too talented, in

removing those emblems. They are kinda tricky to

get off off without breaking the studs.......

they do appear on ebay along the way.

Even with the fender removed and 100% access to the backside I still broke a stud or 2 on the last set I removed. Face it they are little and 60 years old. I might have a set of spares. I bought NOS ones for my car.

Ive been looking on ebay since I bought the car and have no luck. If you have some spares and are willing to part with them let me know.. I appreciate all the help!

In the past on some jobs I did... you can drill a hole tap it and then screw in a stud or bolt them to the car.. (your choice) .. If you can not do that drill and there is a special solder you can weld pot metal.. Or just give it to a "good " chrome restorer" to do it... good luck..

Would't Gorilla Glue hold the emblem on? I think I would give it a try. Just wondering.
