  2. http://www.robertsmotorparts.com/store/electric-locking-gas-cap-chrysler-dodge-desot-plymouth-1928-1952-dodge-truck-plymouth-truck-1928-1960-1-1-1-1 for an electric version
  3. What is the link for Robert's?
  4. Any updates on this project?
  5. https://www.ebay.com/itm/122409471812 any other source for a tool like this?
  6. I have the same problem on my P20. But the weather hasn't been nice enough to let me figure it out. I'm guessing since the tail lights work that it isn't a ground problem at the bulb since my lights use double filiment bulbs
  7. Looks good. I'm going to have to do that to mine
  8. Thanks dpollo. That is what I ended up doing, except without the screwdriver. Just sort of manhandled it and pop, they came off. I had only tried the driver's side before posting and it was much more stuck than the passenger that came off really easy. Strangely, the passenger side 'bearings' were frozen. Took a bit of time, effort, and lubrication to get them moving smoothly again. Everything is back together and it sort of works -- I think I need more vacuum. This car has a combination fuel pump / vacuum pump, but in the driveway it wasn't moving the wipers by itself -- a little manual lift on the arms and they would move and come back (on occasion). Hopefully I'll get more vacuum when on the road. Next up to fix is the brake lights.
  9. I had thought my Trico Wiper Motor was seized, but instead I think the real issue is that the wiper arms / mounts are either on the wrong side or mounted upside down as with the wiper motor removed, the arms can only move a little bit before hitting the limiters inside under the dash. How do I get them off?
  10. Thanks all. I got my Motors Auto Repair Manual on its way -- ordered from eBay.
  11. I'm a new owner of a 1950 P20 Special Deluxe Club Coupe and trying to learn all I can. This is the first antique auto I've ever owned or worked on. These forums here frequently mention a "Motor" manual. I have an official Service Manual that covers the body and some engine items of the P20 series. But, what is the Motor manual and where do I find one? Engine number is: P20*316710* as shown in the photo below. Also, I thought many of the Plymouth engines were painted green. Mine is black. Does that mean anything?
