  1. I'd take a set for my 52' if/when they are available... Steve....
  2. Glad to see you here. My '52 B3B was in similar (but running) shape when I pulled it out of the woods in British Columbia 10 years ago. I'm not sure if your truck is worth any more than the average NADA value but once on the road you'll get lots of looks and waves as you go by.... ...and if you need any parts be sure to ask. The members here are really helpful and most are more than wiling to part with their "parts" for a reasonable rate. Steve....
  3. Here's a pic in case you didn't believe me Steve...
  4. I already used that excuse on the 6 foot foam shark I brought home late last week...
  5. http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/rch/cto/2408332804.html http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/van/cto/2405209471.html http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/pml/cto/2408347572.html I already have 3 projects on the go and I'm not allowed a 4th Steve...
  6. Only one Fargo there: http://www.steamwhistle.ca/ourbeer/chuckles.php but they've got a pretty nice collection going. ...and their beer is pretty good too.
  7. I'm considering doing this for my '69 Mustang that is my DD and then I thought this could also help out our trucks. Has anyone here tried this? http://www.chtopping.com/CustomRod4/ Steve..... '69 Mustang (DD) '52 Dodge B3B 1/2 Ton Pickup - restoration in process. '55 Nash Metropolitan - awaiting restoration '71 Mustang Mach 1 (sold)
  8. I was able to pull all of mine out of the garage last weekend. I still need to paint the grill bars on the 52 Dodge, and bite the bullet and order all the rubber from Steele for the windows but besides that she's pretty much complete. The 55 Nash Met is next on my list of projects. Body and mechanics are sound but there's little to no interior and its a bit rough around the edges. The 69 Mustang is my DD. All there but the interior is 40+ years old and it shows... Looking forward to the summer...
  9. Yes mine also fits perfectly. I do not think I'll ever get it fixed properly....but at least it fills the holes and looks correct. Steve...
  10. All this talk about radios got me wondering what model is in my 52' B3B. I've attached some pics and its a MoPar Model 606. Is this correct? It seems to fit just fine.... I have no idea if it is original since the PO had taken much of the truck apart and then lost the initiative to put it back together again... Steve...
  11. My Dad had a 69 Fiat Spider (red with a black top) that he had to sell when I was born. His idea of a family car was a 71' Challenger with a 440 in it. The white interior was not very child friendly... Steve....
  12. Welcome......and post some pics of your truck. We all enjoy seeing them... Steve....
  13. Welcome! Put some pics up and I'm sure the guys here will chime in. In the meantime get yourself a copy of Don Bunn's book: Dodge B-Series Trucks: Restorer's and Collector's Reference Guide & History. http://www.enthusiastbooks.com/si/10182.html All best, Steve....

  15. I paid $200 to have the bench seat recovered in my '52 B3B. --That's remade and installed! Steve...
  16. Thanks much! I now have a new project! All best, Steve...
  17. Bought mine 9 years ago. I was barely able to drive it out of a fire access road 1/2 way up a mountain in BC. Made lots of progress in the first 3 years but then it all slowed down when my kids were born. Now that they are going to be 6 (twins) its really picked up again with their help...and its more fun now as well. Steve....
  18. Here's some pics with paint. Not too bad for a home Rustoleum paint job. Steve...
