I have the body mounts and front running board mounts attached to the S-10 frame, and the body, fenders and hood set on to see how she looks and if everything fits ok. The front valance sits 8 inches off the ground. I gotta say this has been nothing but FUN. Wife has forgotten who I am and what I look like. LOL Bud :D

just got back from a 2 week vacation and thought you guys might like to see the old mopars (mostly unrestored and some in rough condition) in Curlew, Washington. It closed for the winter after the last 3 day weekend. I have some more, but can only upload the max of 5. the last 2 are not flatheads, but look at the carb set up. Bud :D

I did the same on a trailer I was selling out of the newspaper, guy came out looked it over and proceeded to knock down everything he could to try to get the price down, after I decided he went too far, I interupted him and said that since he thought that there was soooooo much wrong with the trailer, I just couldn't feel good about selling such a pile of crap to him at any price and that the trailer was no longer for sale to HIM. He started stuttering and said that he didn't mean he didn't want to buy it, I reitterated again what I said and stood my ground even after he brought out the cash. Guy never did get to buy it. I did the same with a car once. Felt darn good and other buyers took the trailer, the car is my 49 Plymouth and it pissed me off enough to finish it myself!! Bud :D

I really don't see the clicks, but did get into hot water by a few for having a chebby 350 in my 49 Plymouth. It is refreshing to see some other 49 Plymouths that have been customized. the first one is far over the top of what I have done to mine. I appreciate what he did to his vehicle just as I appreciate what some of you guys have done to make sure your vehicle looks just like it did when it came out of the factory. Stock is not my thing, but I sure can appreciate one that has been done well. All in all, this forum is great and the rubbing by the "purists" can be rather fun. if you look in my profile, you will see my customized 49 Plymouth. I am way out of town on vacation and my laptop does not have any pics on it of my Plymouth that will fit on the forum. Bud :D

Front suspension still available, 5 15" wheels, all crossmembers except the rear, spare tire holder including the wingnut, all dash parts incl glove box and door, ashtray and gauges, ashtray has an extra hole drilled on the face, the temp gauge is beyond repair, but there is an extra in a baggie in the glove box. the parts I do not need have gone to numerous members of the forum and I am so happy that they are going to be used again. I would really like to see the rest put to good use too. Bud :D

they were straight, rear crossmember is now cut out, all body mounts are coming off, frame is now toast. Bud
